Sadly, the meeting Friday night had a very small turnout and nothing could take place as a result. 90 homeowners did not show up.

Because of the low turnout (we had no quorum) at Friday night’s annual meting of the WSEHOA,Inc we were not able to have a meeting or do any HOA business.  That included not having elected a new Board for the Association.  Two of the 2018 board carry over to 2019 (per By-law section 4.2); they are Marilyn Wieneke and Terry Crawford(me).  That means we now have a Board of 2: that means a quorum of 1! This is not satisfactory.  We need 3 homeowners to step up and become part of the 2019 Board so we can do the business that needs to be done on behalf of all the Washington Square Estates home owners. Contact me if you can serve the Association on the Board.

This was mailed out to all homeowners and renters of record late last week after the building was secured for the Annual Meeting.

The Washington Square Estates Home Owners Association, Inc. annual meeting will be on Friday, Jan 18, 2019 at the Building at Metzger Park from 7-9pm.  That is the same place that the 2018 meeting was held.  Hope to see you there!

Thanks to the board and some volunteers, the CCR and By-law amendments have been approved.  More than enough signatures were obtained to approve the Board recommended changes.  Effective December 16th when all signatures were collected, the new CCR’s and By-laws went into effect.  The duly modified CCR’s and By-laws were officially registered with Washington County December 18th.  The HOA is now up to date with State, County and Tigard statutes and ordinances and requirements on homeowners that were terribly out of date have been removed.  The newly effective CCR’s and By-laws will be posted on this website.  They can also be obtained from Washington County.
