  1. Thanks for noticing the recent work completed in WSE. Who was responsible you ask – many individuals. Let me begin with those volunteering on the landscape committee: we identified this particular issue in 2018 requesting the owners of the wall and sidewalk to clean it, without a positive ending. However we were not going to accept that as the final answer to a landscape issue in WSE. It was the first thing we began working on in 2019. Mary Ellen Johnson, Joan Morley, Teri Querin and myself, Marilynn decided to push this issue to the board with a motion to hire Dario Avendano Yard Care to clean the sidewalk. The board members attending the meeting and voting yes were Mackenzie Hart, Joan Morley, and Terry Crawford, to approve the motion to use WSE money to pay to have the sidewalk cleaned. Teri Querin offered to donate a payment to Dario to cover a partial wall cleaning. The next Landscape committee meeting is scheduled for Wed May 29 at 6:30 pm at Marilynn Wieneke’s home. Please attend if you want to take part in the landscape issues in WSE.

  2. Don’t know if someone was hired or someone did it on their own. The board did not spend WSEHOA funds to have this done. This wall and the property along the drainage area between you and the steps up to the “armory” property is the responsibility of the homeowners up there. I will be talking to the city of Tigard, in my role as a WSEHOA Board member, to see what we can do to get the homeowners up there to take on the clean up work they own. The weeds are getting out of control as well. Thanks for your zealousness!
    Cheers,
    Terry

    1. Any luck on getting things done by the homeowners south of WSE to clean up what’s theirs and visible on our end?
