There is a fungus among us

And it is attacking our red cedar trees through their root system.

I Just met with Arborist Jeff, from Urban Forest Pro, on several dead trees at the south entrance.

His company is offering a “solution” In the form of a shot for the ailing trees. I am equally sure other Arborists are also making their offerings available. I suggest that you call and gather information if this is of interest to you.

Advice from Paul On tree issues in WSE HOA INC.

The procedure for determining the agency responsible for issuing tree removal permits along Ash Creek are as follows;

CITY OF TIGARD PERMIT SERVICES   503-718-2426

CLEAN WATER SERVICES  503-718-2426

Contacting these two agencies will determine where the responsibility lies in removing dead or dangerous trees along the creek banks.  Trees near the banks of the creek are part of erosion control which is the domain of Clean Water Services. Removing Trees on Association property require review by the City of Tigard Permit Services Department.  Once those two agencies are notified of the problem trees a course of action can be implemented.

Sincerely
