  1. I have two questions related to the financial report. First, what will be the approved budget for 2019? Second, are there any outstanding dues payable from 2017 and before and if so, what is the $ amount of those?

Question #1-The process we have used in the WSE HOA budget approval begins with the current board approving the budget for the next year, in this case 2019. Then it is put before the members at the Annual Meeting for final approval. The board approved 2019 budget was handed out at the annual meeting and is available on this post. It will again be available at the continuation of annual meeting on Feb 12 for a vote of the homeowners.

Question#2 Surely you must recall the document I requested of you in January 2018 , as we met at Fred Meyers, showing payments for each lot/home owner for the last several years to reflect past due assessments. You maintained control of all financial records, with banking access to the account through January, 2018. I began on Feb 1, 2018 with the accounts and records.
The document you provided me reflected payments by lot owners for 2016, 2017. 2018. Only one lot as of Jan 2018 had yet to be paid at the end of 2017, $308. That payment was turned into the 2017 secretary of record( Dolly Specht) at the annual meeting. You searched through the secretary’s paperwork to locate and then deposit the $308 check . That deposit you made in January, 2018 created a “Paid in full” label to be placed on all accounts in WSE HOA, Inc. when I took control in Feb. My task was to refund the 2018 assessment payments you had received. We were unable to collect 2018 assessments due to our by-laws restricting collection of assessments when the December 31 account balance is greater than $10,000. That also meant that the collections of dues could not be done until the balance was below $2000 per the by laws.

Thank you, Marilynn Wieneke, Treasurer WSE HOA, Inc
