Thank you for your interest in the new picnic table. It replaces an old wooden table that was unsafe to use. The new table was donated and installed by volunteers.
We live near the park and use it. The table is a huge improvement and we were really glad to see it. Sorry you never make it to our part of the neighborhood to enjoy the park.
I have lived in WSE for over 27 years and last month I donated a table to replace the old table(s) that were removed at no charge to the association by another caring neighbor.
I also donated 3 large planting pots which I’m sure you will soon be able to see on the common area soon . This
incurred NO expense to the association and was done to solely enhance the aesthetics of our neighborhood. Thank you and Enjoy!

In much appreciation, Bj, you are one a unique asset to our neighborhood in all that you’ve done and continue to do, and I am aware always at your own volition and dime, such as painting all the fire hydrants, putting decorative streamers on our mailbox stations, and most importantly, the initiation and implementation of the yearly Halloween Parade.
So — thank you for all you’ve done and all that you do to make our neighborhood a better place. I’m actually disappointed that you stepped down from the board.
This is a great improvement over the old tables. They were so rotten I didn’t let my grandchildren use them last summer. The new one looks more durable and functional.

We have lived here for 20 years. Never used the park. How many families actually use the park? Table brings no value to us!

We recently moved to the neighborhood and used the park and table this weekend, it is a HUGE improvement to the park, thanks so much!
